All Windows and Linux dedicated desktops are renewed Friday morning (at about 02:00 GMT), new applications and security patches are added at that time.
This also means that any new applications at earliest will be available at that time.

Linux VDI
The Fox software modules can be used on the Linux VDIs. To make the software modules available run (or add to your "~/.bashrc") the following command:
source /cluster/software/EL9/lmod/lmod/init/profile
